Badshah
Badshah has transformed from a bad tempered polo horse with his head held high to a forward going, round dressage horse after Mandy Baker took him under her wing. The bad temper is still around of course, resulting in common nicknames like Bucking Badshah, Biting Badshah, Badmash and so forth, but he is a star if you know how to get him supple and round. One of the most interesting personalities to ride if you like to show off your canter transition with a buck!

Leela
Leela arrived at BRF in 2013 at the age of 3 as a surly ex-racehorse who was all too willing to snap at you after being retired from a short lived racing career due to a case of ring bone, However, after a few days with the BRF family (horses, humans, dogs alike), Leela has only grown stronger, loves to work and as long as you have time for a cuddle and a treat she will love you forever, unless you come between her and her food, then you will most definitely be pushed aside and ignored which is the only time she acts her age otherwise with her personality you'd think she's a senior horse. She's the kind of horse anyone can ride and at the young age of 4, has already competed in shows such as the Indian Dressage League and Delhi Horse Show to name a few, with high hopes for the future. Also, she's trained in the skill of taking selfies!

Ranbanka
Hands down one of the most handsome horses you'll ever set your eyes on - this chap is gorgeous with an oomph! Can appear to be a handful, but he's a gentleman of a horse when it comes to riding him - as they say, appearances can be deceptive!

Surprise
He is named Surprise for a reason. When we rescued his mother Ruksana we did not know she was pregnant and a few weeks later.. we were surprised!
While Surprise is still a bit nervous around people, he can't seem to get enough of the dogs!

REHABILITATED HORSES
We take in horses who have been mistreated and are often malnourished and afraid of humans. The rehabilitation process is different for every horse with time and patience being the only constants. See some amazing transformation stories below.
Heidi
You wouldn't believe it now but when Heidi arrived at BRF in 2004, she was more bones than flesh. Since then she has grown in to one of the fattest mares in our stables with a trot that one could sit to for hours and a stubbornness that only comes from being too pampered. A club favourite, Heidi now teaches children of all ages how to ride and respect horses.
