Our Why

Beeya's WHY was very simple. She started Beeya's Riding Facility in 2001 to: 1. Give horses a second lease in life. 2. Teach excellence in riding. BRF hopes to nurture in people a love for horses so that more horses get looked after. We believe in the philosophy of working with horses based on the horse's natural instincts and methods of communication, with the understanding that horses do not learn through fear or pain, but rather by building trust and understanding with them. We have our own methodology which has evolved from working, experimenting, and hands-on experience gained from handling whatever horse came our way with whatever baggage of their own! We follow the classical principles of dressage. We engage in the following activities to foster love for horses & excellence in horsemanship: 1. Basic Riding Lessons: To improve one's basic riding skills daily lessons are conducted, both, in mornings & evenings. 2. Dressage & Show jumping Lessons: BRF riders have won many individual & team awards. The facility provides Dressage & Showjumping lessons. 3. Beginner's Horse Riding Clinics - To introduce people to horses & horsemanship, and foster in them a life long love for horses. 4. Pony Club - To infuse in children love & concern for horses & other beings, along with teaching them about horses & horsemanship. |
